I am honored to be asked to participate in the welcome home ceremony for Cpl Paterson on Sat, Aug 16. I remember what it's like to welcome home one returning home from a war. My husband was a Marine in Viet-Nam before I met him, but he returned there for a second tour with the Agency for International Development. He was very proud of his service in the U.S. Marine Corps. So my welcoming home Esther's nephew has special meaning for me too.
