NEWCASTLE - There was a special homecoming reception for Corporal Dan Patterson on Saturday at the Brigg Restaurant and Marina in Newcastle. The dual Canadian-American citizen is on a one month leave of absence from the U.S. Marines after returning from Operation Iraqi Freedom. The reception was hosted by his parents, Dave and Roberta of Newcastle.
